My Work Force

My mom used to tease us that she had so many kids so she didn't have to do the chores anymore. This is what I am looking forward to most when my kids grow up, so yesterday when I was mopping(my least favorite thing to do), Olivia asked is she could help. Of course I said yes and put her to work. She had a blast for about 10 minutes until she declared that this is too hard and gave me back the mop. Unfortunately, she got the floor dirtier rather than cleaner, but it is a start!!!

She's smiling!!! She just doesn't know how bad it sucks yet!

Oh no!! It is starting to get harder. I think she is catching on.

She is about to give up here.

My goal is to have her mopping by the time she is 5. I need to get some benefit from these kids!!!

Abby

So don't judge me but yesterday I was looking at old pictures of the girls and found some of Abby when she was little. She was such a good baby. She slept really well and rarely cried. At the time, I thought she was beautiful. However, looking back on these pictures, I think that I was still lacking lots of sleep. Take a look.

I think that I knew in the back of my mind that she might not be so cute now, but she has potential. And guess what!!! I was right. Just try and look at this picture without smiling.

I now think that Abby is the cutest thing in the world. She is constantly making us laugh and she still lets me cuddle her sometimes. So sorry Abby, you weren't the cutest baby, but look at you now!!!

Disneyland

We thought it would be awesome fun to take the kids to Disneyland and recruited Alex's Mom and Dad to come with us. Then just to be annoying (j/k) Karyn tagged along. I was really trying to win "mother of the year award" with this trip so I started out forgetting to check the weather and packed only shorts and t-shirts for all of us. This is why the girls got these adorable sweatshirts. Olivia loved every minute of Disneyland. She actually stayed in the park from 9am-11pm for both days. Every time we got off a ride she would shout..."what are we riding next". Here are some pictures of them on the rides. They both finally lost the battle with sleep though. And I am going to add this just because I think Abby is the cutest thing ever(sorry Karyn, I had to do it)Also, please try and ignore my voice in this video, I realize that I am very annoying, I just can't stop myself.
